3. Corvus Design
Summary: You identify as an innovator and have a passion for design and creation. Your primary skills must include a design background, and you must have solid skills in graphic design. You will have internalized the basics of quantitative design (you know the golden section and principles of design), and you will have the qualitative approach where you expand beyond the basics to do innovative and awesome things. You also know how to be productive, efficient and respond to the needs for projects to come in on budget (or under). You will help us with general creative tasks, but will also have a focus on marketing support, graphic design for project deliverables like reports, content development and editing, and leading with us into new areas that we are starting to explore (or haven’t explored yet). We are trying to figure out what a landscape architecture and planning firm should look like ten years from now. Technology and creativity are intrinsic to who you are, and you have the skills to hack things until they do what you would like them to do.

Our ideal candidate must possess extensive client development and management skills; design and construction management experience in a supervisory capacity as well as detailed construction documentation skills; proven ability to solve design problems in a proficient manner; and you are solution-focused (contractors like working with you because when faced with a problem, you start the conversation with options to get things on track).
