Feature: "New low-income senior housing project keeps things warm with underground alternative energy"

Last fall, we neglected to highlight a great project that two Landscape Architects, Tamás Deák (KBP Architects) and Brent Hove (Cook Inlet Housing Authority), were working on in Anchorage. The two are pictured below in the mechanical room of Creekview Plaza 49, which is the project highlighted in the article.

 

 

This project was intended to offer independent senior rental housing in East Anchorage, that also incorporated "alternative-energy ground source heat-pump technology," which is the first time it's been used on a large scale in an Anchorage building. Way to go, team!
