CALL FOR ENTRIES: CHAPER AWARDS

about

There is no current call for entries for ASLA AK chapter awards.

Information regarding eligibility, individual award categories and details for submissions for the 2021 Call for Entries can be found in the button under step one below.

We encourage existing and potential ASLA members to consider submitting projects that highlight and feature Alaska landscapes, designers and community collaborations for recognition and celebration.

Please contact us at aslaak.web@gmail.com with any questions pertaining to the award information and we look forward to sharing additional details!

OBJECTIVES

  1. Expand the role and visibility of landscape architecture as a professional design discipline by identifying, recording, and sharing the exceptionally planned, conceptualized, designed and executed projects within the State.

  2. Document the progress and contributions of landscape architecture within the State for the members of the Alaska Chapter, their communities, and their collaborators to use for advocacy and recognition purposes now and well into the future.

  3. Demonstrate an appreciation for, and continue to encourage collaboration amongst, Landscape Architect peers and colleagues, affiliate professionals, and communities who are actively and consistently advancing the mission of the Alaska Chapter ASLA.

  4. In support of the Awards program, the Chapter seeks to provide a submission payment portal on the website in the coming weeks for convenience and are pleased to answer any questions you might have about the submittal process in the meantime.
